About Veronica B.

Hi, my name is Veronica Boxley and I am ready to help shape you for the future. Just getting started?  No need to worry, I have just what you need to become successful in speaking fluent English.   Learning English can be challenging, but with routine practice in a real life setting can help advance you to the next level.  There are 4 areas involved when learning to speak a second language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. We will cover them all in a fun, interactive environment.

My knowledge of these four areas developed by becoming an ESL teacher for 5 years and then an ESL Coordinator for the past 4 years.  With the combination of my degree in Elementary Education, and teaching experience, I am certified as an ESL instructor.  I currently manage over 100 English Language Learners who represent 11 different languages.  I focus on vocabulary strategies, reading skills, conversational English, writing structure, and grammar rules.  Technology is often used as a tool for practice and discovery.  Online learning is structured around individual need and can be used to complete lessons.

Interactive learning can help you use visuals, games, activity sheets, auditory devices.  This can build your listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English.  Real life connections can increase your comprehension and accelerate your skills.  Daily practice is important and can happen in your everyday setting at home, work, or out in the community.  I am trained to help you make those connections with your family and friends.

Are you having trouble helping your child complete homework or other tasks at home? Does your child communicate with you in English only?  Do you feel disconnected from communicating with others?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, I am here to help you reach your goals and become fluent in English.
